For this radio feature piece I interviewed Veronica Giamusso at her flood damaged home, and took still pictures on location to complement the story. To capture sound, I used a digital recorder and edited my soundclips with Audacity.
ReplyDeleteThings I would have changed: 1) shortened the soundbites from the interview 2)used a second source 3)tightened up some of my editing.
When I edited this piece, I added a voice over sound bite to break up the long first section of the interview, and I also cleaned up the audio by deleting the "clicks" between sections.
ReplyDeleteUpdated 12/11/10 at 2:45pm: Made a final edit to shorten the piece to just under 5 minutes. I took out another sound bite of Veronica on tape and added additional voice over.
